Debbie Orta sings the great jazz standards with passion and emotion that comes from a lifelong love of great lyrics and melodies as well reflections on life with its changes and challenges. Even as a child she sought to imitate the sounds and songs of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Nat... King Cole, and those influences color Debbie's timbre and phrasing on the Great American Songbook, resulting in a unique voice with echoes of the past. A versatile artist, Debbie has also performed in various musical genres including Latin, funk, and pop.

The Debbie Orta Jazz Group was formed in 2007 and has received accolades from both musicians and the listening audience.
